La Chapelle de Bordeaux Blanc
Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon • Bordeaux AOC

Alongside its famous clarets, Bordeaux produces a raft of fresh, appetising whites, too. La Chapelle is a classic blend of lemony Sémillon and crisp grassy Sauvignon Blanc from our own Jean-Marc Sauboua.
Few winemakers coax quite as much flavour and intensity out of the great Sauvignon Blanc grape as does Jean-Marc Sauboua – known as ‘the King of Sauvignon’. He’s also a dab hand with Bordeaux’s other great white grape, Semillon, seamlessly blending the two varieties together in this mouthwatering new release. It always helps when you can call upon a roster of top growers throughout Bordeaux’s Entre Deux Mers region for grapes of the highest quality, a privilege which puts Jean-Marc’s whites in a league of their own. And he can draw upon a wealth of winemaking experience, including a stint at First Growth estate Château Haut-Brion.
An elegant white Bordeaux in a classical style that is bursting with a crisp lemon and lime freshness.
